Chris Martin defends strange baby names

The lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, decided to defend his children’s…uh, “unique” baby names recently (if you didn’t know, he and wife Gwyneth Paltrow named their children Apple and Moses). Here’s what he had to say:
“People make a big fuss over names. Names of babies, names of albums, names of bands.
“There’s nothing weird about calling your baby Chewbacca if that’s what you want to call your baby,” he goes on. “It’s no stranger than Sarah.”
He says, “a name is just a noise, and if you like it, then f–k what everyone else says.” - source
Uh, really? Chewbacca? I don’t think so. The thing is these kids are going to have to deal with other kids, and naming your child Apple isn’t doing them any favors.

I totally defend Chris and Gwenyth… actaully Apple and Moses are cute names. They may have to deal with other kids but look at who their parents are…there should be no problems there. Chris is right though… if you want to name your kid Chewbacca, gofor it!!
