Chris Noth has signed on for Sex and the City

New Line Cinema has confirmed that Mr. Big himself - aka CHRIS NOTH — has signed on to the new ‘Sex and the City’ movie!
Noth played the on-again, off-again love-interest of SARAH JESSICA PARKER character Carrie’s on the hit HBO show and the last time we saw the pair, in the 2004 finale, he told Carrie that she was the one.
In July it was confirmed that Sarah Jessica, CYNTHIA NIXON, KRISTIN DAVIS and KIM CATTRALL would be reuniting for a feature film. New Line Cinema is close to sealing a deal to distribute the movie in association with HBO.
Shooting is reportedly scheduled to begin in mid-September.
