Rumors that Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston are dating have been circulating since they filmed their movie The Bounty Hunter together. Then Gerard has been linked to just about everybody else and was even seen smooching some girl on the street. Anyway, Gerard spent the weekend in Cabo with Jenn and her friends for her 41st birthday.

Also celebrating with Jennifer were Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Sheryl Crowe.

That’s Jennifer in the back in the purple bikini and Gerard looking through the binoculars at the paparazzi. Reportedly, Aniston and Butler went to their own suite a short distance away from the main house and later Gerard was seen the next morning wearing a Trilby and holding a bottle of “Voss Water”.

I do not see any pictures of them together at a private suite, but who knows. It is possible they are just really good friends. What do you think?

Cash Warren and his wife Jessica Alba were spotted leaving their hotel in Miami Beach, FL and heading to the Super Bowl XLIV, between the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints.

If Cash was rooting for the Saints then he must have had a great time. The Saints won the Super Bowl, with a score of 31 to 17.

Cash and Jessica are coming close to celebrating their 2nd anniversary. Unfortunately, they are dealing with the rumors that Cash hooked up with Lindsay Lohan this past fall.

Jessica addressed the rumors saying, “When people wrote lies about me before I had [my daughter] Honor, I’d get upset or I’d get nauseous or I’d get angry or I’d want revenge. Now, it’s like, it’s just so ridiculous and it’s not even close to being the truth. Lindsay’s had to deal with this for so long. Everyone has to live their life, and that’s what people forget when you’re in this business – she’s really nice. We hang out and chat for hours about girl stuff.”

More pictures of Cash and Jess.

High School Musical star Corbin Bleu has taken to the big stage of Broadway and is making his debut in “In the Heights”. I have a clip of Corbin’s opening scene.

In The Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in Manhattan’s Washington Heights – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind.

Corbin plays Usnavi and will be on Broadway until April 25th. Get your tickets at InTheHeightsTheMusical.com.

“Old Dogs”, starring John Travolta and Robin Williams will be available on Disney Blu-ray, DVD, and Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy Combo Pack March 9, 2010. Did you get a chance to see it in the theater? I didn’t, so I am looking forward to previewing it. The reviews were not that great, but I like to judge for myself. It’s a funny family movie, not meant to win an Oscar or anything, you know?

With bonus features including laugh-out-loud boopers, exclusive music videos, behind-the-scenes peeks and a digital copy of the film, the Old Dogs Combo Pack will have audiences howling with laughter! Kelly Preston (Jerry McGuire), Conner Rayburn (The Invention of Lying), Seth Green (Can’t Hardly Wait), Matt Dillon (There’s Something About Mary) and, in her screen debut, Ella Bleu Travolta (real life daughter of Travolta and Preston) deliver champion comic performances in a movie that combines unforgettable physical humor, off-the-wall escapades and heartfelt emotion.

What an amazing cast!

Bonus features below.

Bonus Features

Old Dogs on single-disc DVD also includes:
• A Collection of Hilarious Deleted Scenes and Bloopers
• Audio Commentary by the film’s director Walt Becker, producer Andrew Panay, and writers David Diamond and David Weissman

The single disc Blu-ray Hi-Def version includes the same bonus features, plus:
• “Every Little Step” — A new music video performed by John Travolta and Ella Bleu Travolta

The three-disc Combo Pack (BD+DVD+Digital Copy) includes all of the above as well as:
• “You’ve Been A Friend To Me” — A music video performed by Bryan Adams
• “Young Dogs Learn Old Tricks”

Dan (Robin Williams) and his best friend and business partner Charlie (John Travolta) are on the verge of the biggest deal in the history of their sports marketing firm when their lives are turned upside down by a surprise visit from Dan’s ex-wife Vicki (Kelly Preston). Vicki has big news for Dan—their ever-so-brief liaison produced twins Zach (Conner Rayburn) and Emily (Ella Bleu Travolta), now seven-years-old and in need of a dad to keep an eye on them for two weeks. With only high-living playboy Charlie for
support, Dan’s bumbling attempts at “on the job training” in fatherhood result in a series of disastrously funny exploits that lead him to a new understanding of what really matters in life. Featuring an extraordinary cast of comedy purebreds including Seth Green, Matt Dillon and Lori Loughlin, Old Dogs will have audiences rolling over and begging for more.

I didn’t get a chance to see this movie in theaters, so I am really looking forward to seeing it on DVD. You can grab your copy of “Everybody’s Fine” on DVD February 23rd. It’s obviously a movie about relationships – relationship between kids and their father in particular.

EverybodysFineDVD(2)

A recently retired widower makes an impromptu cross-country pilgrimage that reveals a host of family secrets in Everybody’s Fine, a heartfeltdramatic comedy coming to DVD on February 23, 2010 from Miramax Home Entertainment. Featuring Paul McCartney’s Golden Globe nominated song “(I Want To) Come Home,” as well as a behind the scenes featurette and scenes not included in the theatrical release, Everybody’s Fine is a bittersweet reminder of the lengths people go to protect those they love.

A finely drawn depiction of a family defined by the things they don’t tell each other, Everybody’s Fine stars two-time Academy Award® winner Robert De Niro (Best Supporting Actor, The Godfather Part II, 1974 and Best Actor, Raging Bull, 1980) as the patriarch of the far flung Goode clan. In one of the most moving portrayals of his storied career, De Niro leads an award winning ensemble that includes Drew Barrymore (He’s Just Not That Into You, Whip It), Kate Beckinsale (the Underworld Franchise, Pearl Harbor) and Sam Rockwell (G-Force, Frost/Nixon). Critics including Karen Durbin of Elle have praised the film’s “First-rate performances,” while Pete Hammond of Box Office Magazine singles out De Niro for his “Wonderful, award worthy work.”

The DVD’s exclusive bonus features include:
• The Making of Paul McCartney’s “(I Want To) Come Home”
• Deleted and Extended Scenes

Robert De Niro leads an acclaimed all-star cast- Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale, and Sam Rockwell- In Everybody’s Fine, the heartwarming film that will move you to laugter and tears. When Frank Goode’s (De Niro) grown children cancel a family reunion, the recent widower sets off on a cross-country journey to reconnect with each of them. Expecting to share in the joys of their happy, successful lives, his surprise visits reveal a picture that is far from perfect. A family separated by physical and emotional distance finds a way to come together in a story that will touch your heart.

Oh Em Gee!v Let me catch my breath for a minute. It is no secret that I am a huge Matthew McConaughey fan. I love his movies, his voice and well, just looking at him. No worries, my husband is well aware of my issues.

Yesterday (January 28) Matthew was seen on the beach in Malibu shooting an ad for Hug Boss. He was decked out in a tuxedo and although I prefer him in his Texas Longhorn shirts (big UT fan here!) and jean shorts, he was looking mighty fine.

FP_IMAGE_4449322/FP_SET_4448016

Nice. Just real nice.

The same day as the photoshoot, Matthew McConaughey treated his girlfriend and mother of his 2 children to dinner at  BeauRivage Restaurant in Malibu on her 28th birthday. I have a video clip of him walking out with balloons and she has a handful of presents.

What’s Matthew got on his plate these days as far as movies go? He is filming Southbound with Eva Mendes (I bet they will have great on set chemistry). Southbound is about a boarder patrol officer who finds himself caught in the middle of a war between a Mexican crime family and the U.S. immigration police when he comes into contact with a beautiful Mexican woman.

He is rumored to be starring in several other movies, all due out in the next couple of years.

Enjoy a few more pictures of Matthew on the beach and 2 video clips below.

Last night (January 27) in Hollywood, CA Josh Duhamel attended the “When in Rome” premiere held at the El Capitan Theatre. His wife Fergie was at the premiere with him as well.

FP_IMAGE_4443247/FP_SET_4440959

It’s obvious if you’ve watched any of the clips from When in Rome, that Josh and his co-star Kristin Bell have some serious chemistry. I am really looking forward to seeing this film! I am expecting the ending to be kind of predictable, but we will have to wait and see. I don’t mind a guy ends up with girl type ending.

When in Rome premieres in theaters tomorrow, January 29th and is about an ambitious young New Yorker (KRISTEN BELL), disillusioned with romance, takes a whirlwind trip to Rome where she defiantly plucks magic coins from a fountain of love, inexplicably igniting the passion of those who threw them in:  a sausage magnate (DANNY DEVITO), a street magician (JON HEDER), an adoring painter (WILL ARNETT) and a self-admiring model (DAX SHEPARD).  But when a charming reporter (JOSH DUHAMEL) pursues her with equal zest, how will she know if his love is the real thing? What an odd group of suitors!

“The Boys Are Back” DVD Review http://www.hunkyblog.com/the-boys-are-back-dvd-review/ http://www.hunkyblog.com/the-boys-are-back-dvd-review/#comments Wed, 27 Jan 2010 18:39:56 +0000 Julie Bonner http://hunkyblog.com/?p=6073 Post from: Hunky Blog

TheBoysAreBackDVDThe Boys are Back came to DVD January 26th and I finally had a chance to watch it. I am a huge Clive Owen fan, so I was pretty excited about seeing him play a single father. What I love about this movie is that it’s based on a true story. I’m a sucker for true stories.

The Boys are Back didn’t Hollywood-ize the movie. It showed the raw story of what a dad who doesn’t know his children has to go through after his wife dies. One of my favorite lines was when Clive Owen’s character says that his boy only knows him as someone who comes home every once and awhile with gifts. How true is that in real life?

Not only did the movie show what a new single dad goes through, but also what it meant to a young boy to lose his mom and what a teenage son feels like knowing that his dad left him when he was only 6.

I won’t tell you the ending, but let’s just say I loved it. The Boys are Back is about relationships – the ups and downs, the good, the bad and the ugly. It definitely made me stop and take a look at my own relationships with my kids.

The movie isn’t all serious. It’s funny. The little boy in the movie is just great.

Should you see this? YES! A resounding yes.

DVD details below.

The Boys are Back, the deeply moving and often funny tale of a man who finds himself suddenly responsible for raising two sons alone, comes to DVD on January 26, 2010 from Miramax Films and Buena Vista Home Entertainment. The story of this irreverent and independent sportswriter who suddenly faces single fatherhood is inspired by the true story of Australian Simon Carr, The Boys are Back is an original and uplifting story of one family’s journey.

The death of his wife leaves wisecracking sportswriter Joe Warr (Clive Owen) with a curious six year-old (Nicholas McAnulty) and a rebellious teen from a previous marriage (George MacKay) to bring up in a household devoid of feminine influence. So Joe takes on parenting the only way he knows how—full throttle. With an exuberance born of necessity, he teaches his boys to meet the
joy and fragility of life head on. The Boys Are Back chronicles the fierce love and loyalty the three Warr men discover for each other as they make their way through the trials of everyday life.
