George Clooney and Brad Pitt are pretty much the hottest men on the planet, precisely because of what you see here – their inherent coolness. They’re too cool for school, man. Can you dig it?

Here’s George talking about Ocean’s 13:

Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney told reporters in Tokyo on Tuesday that friendship played an important part in his enjoyment of making “Ocean’s Thirteen,” the latest in the hit series of movies about a band of brigands and other no-gooders.

“It’s a great project to be involved in because I really care about all the people I work with. They’re really great friends of mine. We’ve done a million other projects together besides the ‘Oceans.’ And it’s a fun character to play,” he told the roughly 400 media representatives gathered at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills. “You won’t see many movies in this day and age with that many big stars who are actively handing the spotlight to the people around them. They share everything with one another. They’re not trying to grab the spotlight. It’s a casual group. And I think that’s the thing I loved the most about it — how laid back everybody was.”

“Ocean’s Thirteen,” which Clooney repeatedly insisted would be the final installment of the series, features an ensemble cast that includes some of Hollywood’s biggest names, like his great buddies Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.

Clooney’s co-stars were the butt of many of the numerous jokes the 46-year-old actor gave during the hour-long news conference he gave with producer Jerry Weintraub.

Clooney started off with a laugh, introducing himself by saying, “I’m Brad Pitt. I just look much older in person.”

Clooney said the fun part of “Ocean’s Thirteen” is “watching Matt Damon trying to woo a woman,” while the most enjoyable part of the movie was “the love scene between Brad and I from ‘Brokeback Mountain’ … that was cut out, though.”

Asked what it was like to play the leader of such a star-studded cast, Clooney once again responded with a joke answer.

“In terms of being the leader of Brad and Matt, I have some very compromising photos of them that I use as leverage to make myself the leader,” Clooney said, once again raising a laugh as he added that he could not show the pictures. “There was a farm animal involved.”

Clooney said the appeal in playing crime gang boss Danny Ocean was that “he gets to be the boss. It’s always fun to be the boss.”

“Ocean’s Thirteen” sees Ocean assemble his team of thieves to get revenge against casino owner Willie Banks, played by Hollywood legend Al Pacino.

“I’ll start by saying that Al learned a lot about acting from me,” the star said, tongue planted firmly in cheek. “It’s always intimidating working with someone like Al Pacino, because he’s one of the great actors. But he made it easy for us.”

Clooney said he would also like to work with Japanese star Ken Watanabe. “I’d do anything with Ken. I think he’s one of the great actors in Hollywood right now.”

But Clooney added that he thought it unlikely they would be able to get a project underway any time soon. Nonetheless, Watanabe may well find himself included among Clooney’s friends one day.
