Heath Ledger Receives an Oscar Nomination for “The Dark Knight”

FILES-US-CINEMA-LEDGER It’s been exactly one year to the day when Heath Ledger died from an accidental drug overdose. What better way to remember him by than an Oscar Nomination!

This morning (January 22), Forest Whitaker announced the 81st Oscar nominations. Heath received one for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as the Joker in “The Dark Knight”. Congratulations to Heath and his family!
