Matthew McConaughey is dating Kate Hudson

I guess I don’t really see what Matthew MConaughey sees in Kate Hudson; she’s been with more guys than I can count on both hands AND feet. She must have an incredibly dependable nanny.

They’ve shared an ongoing mutual crush, and now Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson have finally decided to give romance a go. The former co-stars have snuck off for a lovey-dovey festive break in the Caribbean, leaving the actor’s girlfriend Camila Alves heartbroken. After a roller-coaster romance year, Kate’s friends are reportedly relieved she has finally fallen into the arms of her good pal Matthew, who they see as her perfect partner.

For his part, Matt, 38, has long fancied Kate and waited patiently while the actress’s marriage to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson dissolved in 2006. And he maintained his interest even while Kate enjoyed flings with Owen Wilson, Dax Shepard and billionaire Ron Burkle.

Now that she’s single again, Matt’s swooped. “Matthew is totally smitten with Kate,” a good friend says.

“He has confessed to her that he fell in love with her when they were working on Fool’s Gold together [in March] and that he couldn’t say anything as long as she was with Owen.”

Sources say that after Kate, 28, broke up with Owen, Matt got in touch and asked her out on a date. However, she didn’t want to swap one charming womaniser for another and took up with Dax instead.

“She didn’t know how to respond to Matthew’s interest,” says a friend.

“But he has an irresistible flair to his personality and he kept calling Kate, spending long hours talking to her on the phone, and finally he won her over.”

Well, he’s a cutie-patootie..I just hope he knows what he’s getting into!
