“Eagle Eye” on DVD and Blu-Ray December 28th
December 20, 2008 by Julie Bonner
“Eagle Eye” starring Shia LeBeouf, comes to DVD and Blu-Ray on December 28, 2008. This was one of those movies that I was dying to go see in the movie theater and never had the chance too. I received the DVD the other day and this is one great movie. I am a big fan of Shia LeBeouf movies and this one did not disappoint!
Executive Producer Steven Spielberg delivers the ultimate race-against-time thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Shia LaBeouf (Transformers) and Michelle Monaghan (Mission: Impossible III) star as strangers ripped from their ordinary lives when they are “activated” as part or a high-tech assassination plot. Through blistering chases and shocking twists they try to escape – but where do you go when the enemy is everywhere?
“Eagle Eye” definitely kept me on the edge of my seat and trying to guess who the enemy was until the very end. The idea of strangers being ripped from their everyday lives and “activated” is such a great story. Shia Lebeouf and Michelle Monaghan had no control over what was happening to them and was at the mercy of the woman giving the orders.
Billy Bob Thornton also stars in “Eagle Eye” and he has a great role. A few of his lines had me laughing. He played one of those characters that you do not want to cross and you basically do what he says or else!
I received the 2-Disc Special Edition “Eagle Eye” DVD and the second disc is full of amazing special features. You can watch an alternate ending, check out the making of the movie, the gag reel and a fantastic photo gallery. The first disc not only has the incredible movie on it, but also deleted scenes and a feature called “Road Trip: On Location With the Cast and Crew”. I still haven’t see all of the special features, but am looking forward to checking the rest of them out.
If you like Shia LeBeouf, like action movies and want to own a movie that keeps you guessing until the very end, “Eagle Eye” is the movie for you. This is definitely one of my favorite movies of 2008!

Everybody wants Shia

And why wouldn’t they? He’s a nice break from all the coke-happy celebs we’re having to put up with lately!
So who is the star everybody wants to lift the velvet rope for? Lindsay? Paris? The Olsen twins? The above-mentioned Posh and Katie (and their husbands)? Nope. “Lindsay Lohan is out and … Shia LaBeouf is in. He is the most desired guest right now. But he never goes out. Everybody wants him.” (Shia, take my advice. Stay home!)
